It’s really rare to find one that’s tinted, long-wearing, and as hydrating as a regular lip balm, IMO! I prefer a clear lip balm that is very hydrating for night time and then wearing lipstick/gloss during the day.
I really enjoy them, but it is a lot of single-use packaging, so I definitely will feel guilty. I just remind myself that as someone who tests a lot of things out and flits between products, everything that goes into a full-size jar of a mask that doesn’t get used isn’t exactly environmentally-friendly either.
It’s one of those products that I just never got into. I don’t think they are ineffective per se, just that I find my all-over moisturizer (or serum) works well enough that I wouldn’t seek out a targeted eye cream.
Between liquid and cream, I prefer the solid nature of a cream–I find it harder to control and often easier to apply, but I like liquid blush in particular over drier skin.
I like it when they are more creative or really showcase the colors/finishes of the launch, but when they are highly-edited and stylized, then they’re just “pretty” but don’t tell me much.
The brand is more one note than anything else, which is fine if you love that one note, but it can be redundant after awhile. I am happy to have seen some shade extensions in various products over the last few years and hope to see that continue.
Their shipping turnaround times are really poor when ordering direct, and I have heard mostly horror stories about getting a response from customer service, which is a huge no-no for a luxury priced brand. I love the formulas of many of the products, so I hope to see some less pink-themed offerings in the future.
