Formula Overview
$9.00/0.33 oz. - $27.27 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a "buildable" formula ("kiss of color") that has a "flushed, luminous" finish. The consistency was lightweight, spreadable, and felt like a gel-cream texture that had an emollience to it but spread without lifting up base products. I had no trouble blending out the product using a fingertip or a brush, and it worked well over bare skin as well as on top of foundation.
It was quite spreadable, so while it might have seemed more medium coverage initially, it was semi-sheer in practice and did require layering to build to more medium coverage. This formula lasted well for eight hours on me before showing signs of fading.

The liquid blush looked far more subtle on your cheeks than I thought it would from the swatch. I can see how it could be built up to the desired cheek shade. What a great product.
Is it just me, or are all of the Elf Halo Glow blushes variations on copper?
I hadn’t noticed until you mentioned it but I went back and looked and they are all just depth variations of copper/orange/pink with some leaning a bit one way or the other but not in striking detail. Well, that makes me feel better about only buying one of them and likely one of the lighter shades. I want to see them in person so will try and hit an Ulta while in Denver in just under 2 weeks. I think this one is my favorite of them, though.
Such a beautiful, lit-from-within blush on you! And I would imagine that it would even be a pretty highlighter blush on me when I at my lightest. Something that came around earlier than usual for me this year. Mostly because I don’t drive and this past summer (even YESTERDAY!) has been searing hot!
It must be depressing having to stay in because of the heat and humidity, especially when you are already not feeling well. I have some friends that just left to go to Arizona for the winter and we talked about the fact that because of the extreme heat down there, they had contemplated staying up here a bit longer but we are starting to dip down into the 30’s at night so can snow be far behind!! I know we had a pretty hard frost night before last as my grass was crunchy when I stepped on it. I am sort of dreading winter but also looking forward to all the tourists going home. I dread having to put winter boots on as I have lost both of my gib toenails to a weird disease and had been treating them for what I thought was fungus but turned out not to be. So, hopefully the tissue under the nails, that aren’t there anymore, will toughen up so I can comfortably wear closed toe shoes.
This is really, really pretty. Another in a long line of shades that I love that are all essentially the same! Other than the Clinique Coral Pop, I don’t have any of the dupes but I am sure that I have several that would look essentially the same. I am going to save it for when I need some retail therapy and don’t want to spend a ton of money!!
